I am currently an early-stage Ph. D. student at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, under the Advisement of Dr. Terry Hazen, and Dr. Larry McKay in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences. My primary research focus is systems biology for bioremediation and bioattenuation. At the core, my research is an investigation targeted at understanding two major components of microbial community function and structure. The first of which is  geochemistry and the second being the role of Ultramicrobacteria in the subsurface. Follow our work to understand the relationships of both abiotic and biotic factors to community function and structure within contaminated groundwater systems.

The Mission:

Be an educational resource for environmental topics, bioremediation, and public access research

Feel free to contact me with any and all environmental questions. I aim to make links available on each page for more information, and direct links you can access to ask me questions or share stories. We are all roaming environmentalists, ecologists, and biologists whether we admit it or not. We see environmental issues everyday, and this resource is designed to get you in contact with top research, and top opportunities. Feel free to follow our research, our environmental stories, and our educational outreach. If you have any questions at all regarding our research, topics, or simply an environmental question feel free to reach out! I hope you find this site to be both interesting, and helpful.
