Andrew Putt

I am currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. My primary research focus is a systems biology approach to bioremediation and bioattenuation. At the core, I aim to understand the physical and geochemical features that influence microbial community function and structure.

I have a passion for remediation, and believe that clean water should not be a privilege but should be a right available to everyone regardless of geography or socioeconomic status.

The Mission:

Be an educational resource for environmental topics, bioremediation, and public access research

Feel free to contact me with any and all environmental questions. We are all roaming environmentalists, ecologists, and biologists whether we admit it or not. We see environmental issues everyday, and need to better understand our impacts on the environment as a whole. Thanks for stopping by!
